Process: The customer brought us photographs of an antique
white oak table with a round top, but she wanted one taller
than the original and larger in diameter. The owner of the
antique let us examine and measure the piece which had unique
leg structure much different from any other table we had previously
made. We built and delivered the table and the customer invited
us to sit and have coffee with her at her new table.
Example: Design and build a custom-measured 3-legged milking
stool
Process: This piece that we often make, but the customer
is a very tall man, and he wanted the stool to be just the
exact height for him. We measured as he sat in a chair and
began creating the stool. It’s a bit more complex than
it sounds, because the taller stool changed the leg angles
and top thickness to be strong while maintaining proportion.
Since delivery, the customer has stopped by several times
to tell us how much he enjoyed his piece.
